CUENCA CARE FOUNDATION

Living Well in Cuenca Begins with Connection

Cuenca Care Foundation

WHAT WE'RE BUILDING

Cuenca Care Foundation is being built around a simple idea: living well in Cuenca depends on more than any single service. It depends on having access to trusted information, meaningful connections, and reliable support when needs change.

CCF is creating a foundation for responding thoughtfully to the evolving needs of the community we call home. Our first area of service will be in-home care and support — an important first step within a much broader commitment to living well in Cuenca.

WHERE WE ARE NOW

Q3 2026

As of August 24th the CCF received formal notification that the Foundation has been approved by the Ministry of Health. We now expect to receive the official printed approval and our RUC authorization within the next 45 days: this is a huge milestone for the CCF!

Behind the scenes, we have been planning the operational foundation needed to provide dependable, professional services in Cuenca — including procedures and protocols, staffing and clinical-care systems, and the administrative, technology, and compliance infrastructure that will support our work. Once we receive our RUC authorization, many of these steps become doable.

There is still much work ahead, but important pieces are falling into place. We'll use this space to keep you informed as CCF moves toward its initial launch — sharing progress, important developments, and what comes next.

And Insights will extend beyond what you read on the page. Watch this space for announcements about upcoming seminars, talks, educational programs, and other opportunities to learn, connect, and engage.
